Inner Court of Truth

Isaiah 59:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 59 in context

Scripture Focus

14And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Isaiah 59:14

Biblical Context

Judgment is turned away and justice stands afar because truth has fallen in the streets; equity cannot enter. This describes an inward misalignment reflected in outward conditions.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the scriptural image, the outer court where judgment and justice seem blocked is a mirror of your inner life. When truth is said to have fallen into the street, it is your awareness that has forgotten its creative power, not a distant cosmic failure. The I AM (your abiding consciousness) remains untouched; what shifts is your alignment with it. The line between right action and fear collapses when you forget that imagination fabricates reality. To heal this, return to the conviction that you are the one who commands the inner scene. Do not seek justice outside until you have revived it within. Assume the state that truth is present, and that your inner court is capable of balancing judgment with mercy through the undeniable reality of the I AM. In this revision, the world conforms to the inner state you cultivate, for consciousness precedes appearance and imagination creates what you inhabit.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am truth and justice now.' Feel the inner court respond with certainty, and notice the outer world rearranging to reflect this new state.
