Read Isaiah 57 in context

Scripture Focus

2He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Isaiah 57:2

Biblical Context

The upright enter peace and rest in their own uprightness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 57:2 whispers that peace comes to the upright, not to the doubtful. In my teaching, peace is a state of consciousness you assume, not a destination. The upright walk in alignment with the I AM within, and so the inner atmosphere agrees with that truth, and peace manifests. When you close your eyes and imagine yourself already at rest, you are not begging for quiet; you are acknowledging the inner standard by which all outer events are measured. The bed becomes a symbol of the mind at rest, a place where thoughts cease their clamor and the I AM holds you in a calm, untroubled rhythm. Think of the inner movement as a script: see yourself living in uprightness, feel the certainty that your inner law governs your days, and the outer world will follow the pattern of that inner harmony. This is not illusion but the law of consciousness: you are the I AM, and peace is your natural state when you assume it now.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already at peace this moment. Sit or lie quietly, feel the stillness as your bed; then picture yourself moving through the day upright in alignment with the I AM.
