Pathway to the Inner Zion

Isaiah 57:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 57 in context

Scripture Focus

13When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
14And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
Isaiah 57:13-14

Biblical Context

The verses contrast seeking help from outward allies with trusting in God; true possession is found in inner trust, and we are called to remove inner stumbling blocks to clear the path within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your cry is not to the outside but to the I AM within. The wind that carries away vain helpers reveals that only the I AM—your own consciousness—endures. When you decide to trust in me, you claim a present possession: the land and the holy mountain are interior realities of awareness. The stumbling block is a mistaken belief that something stands between you and God. Cast up the road by revision: affirm, I am the I AM; I possess the land now; the way is prepared by the light of consciousness. Do not seek deliverance from others; let those external supports fall away as you awaken to your true state. As this inner shift takes hold, the outer world will begin to reflect the inward standing, and the path you must walk becomes clear in present experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume: I am the I AM; I trust in the God within; the stumbling blocks dissolve and the inner land is mine now. Visualize a road forming before you, with all blocks removed, and step onto it.
