Inner Gathering of All

Isaiah 56:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 56 in context

Scripture Focus

8The Lord GOD, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
Isaiah 56:8

Biblical Context

The verse states that God, the inner Lord, gathers the outcast and, beyond them, draws others into the circle of his gathering.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Isaiah’s line, the gathering is not a distant act of history but a present act of consciousness. The Lord GOD is your I AM, the awareness that never leaves a state, and 'outcasts' are the rejected, forgotten parts of you that you have denied or neglected. When you acknowledge them as real within your inner field, you invite them into the circle of your being. The verse promises that this gathering is not limited to former tribes; it will extend to 'others'—desires, talents, and even pain—if you hold faith that your state of mercy, grace, and presence can embrace them. The true gathering happens when you stop seeking externally and realize all are already drawn to the center of your consciousness. The promise of presence—God with you, within you—becomes a practical fact as you dwell in the awareness that you are the gathering, and the gathering is you. Your imagination, not external conditions, creates this reality, and revision of your sense of separation completes the circle.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the gathering presence is now; feel the unity of every part of your being drawn into this circle. If separation arises, revise it: I am the gathering; all parts are drawn to me now.
