When you acknowledge the LORD thy God and the Holy One of Israel as the within, you are not petitioning an external deity; you are feeling and knowing your own glorified nature. This inner glorification shifts your inner weather; you stop seeking from the world and begin radiating a certainty that attracts. The 'nations that knew not thee' are the unknown possibilities waiting in your psyche; as you hold the conviction that you are already glorified, these possibilities are drawn toward your center. In practice, you are not changing events; you are changing the state of awareness from which events spring. Your world reorganizes to reflect the inner state you now inhabit.
