The Inner Rain of Provision

Isaiah 55:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 55 in context

Scripture Focus

10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Isaiah 55:10

Biblical Context

Rain and snow from heaven water the earth, causing it to bud and provide seed for sowing and bread for eating. This illustrates a divine order sustaining growth and supply.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the rain as the thoughts of God falling into the inner soil of your being. The 'earth' is your life here and now; when the rains come, they do more than moistening the surface—they stir possibility, inviting seeds of intention to sprout and nourish you. To 'return thither' is to resist clinging to old, dried states and to welcome the new current of grace. The seed you sow is the idea formed in the I AM, the bread you eat is the fulfillment that arises when you live from the felt presence of God. This is the creation principle: you are the consciousness that receives, nurtures, and manifests. Decide in this moment that rain is an ongoing, divine provision, that the I AM waters your inner world, and that every rising thought of abundance is already seeded and ready to bear fruit in your life.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM is raining on your inner world right now; revise any lack as already given and feel the soil within you sprout with seed and nourishment.
