Isaiah 54:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 54 in context

Scripture Focus

13And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Isaiah 54:13-14

Biblical Context

The passage promises that when you are guided by the LORD, your inner life is taught and peaceful. You are established in righteousness and shielded from oppression and fear.

Neville's Inner Vision

Thy children symbolize the inner faculties and desires born in consciousness. The LORD is the I AM within, the ever-present teacher you can hear when you still the mind. To be taught of the LORD is to awaken to that inner voice and revise every belief that keeps you separate from God. When you dwell in this awareness, the peace of your inner children becomes your natural atmosphere; righteousness is not a rule you perform but a felt alignment—an inner state in which you know you are established. Oppression and fear appear as empty echoes when you remember you are one with the I AM; terror cannot reach a consciousness that refuses to abandon its unity with God. The outer world will echo this inward decree as you persist in the state, but the seed is planted in imagination. Do not chase peace externally—assume it, feel it real, and let it displace fear with unshakable presence.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state: I am taught by the LORD; my inner children are at peace; I am established in righteousness; fear and terror cannot touch me. Stay with that feeling until it feels real.
