Unshakable Kindness Within

Isaiah 54:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 54 in context

Scripture Focus

10For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Isaiah 54:10

Biblical Context

Despite outer upheaval, God's steadfast kindness and the covenant of peace remain with you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the mountains and hills as shifts in the outer theater of life—appearances that come and go. Isaiah says they may depart, yet my kindness shall not depart from thee, and the covenant of my peace shall not be removed. In this light, the promises are not distant truths but the very state of your own consciousness. God is the I AM you awaken to in any moment, and mercy is the feeling tone that circulates within when you identify with that I AM rather than with fear or lack. When you accept that the outer world can change while your inner nature remains intact, you discover that the enduring kindness and the peace you covenant with are not conditions to be earned but realities to be recognized. The outer fluctuations are simply the shifting weather of mind; the inner sun—your benevolent state of awareness—remains steadfast. By living from the assumption of ongoing mercy, you align your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions with the truth that you are held by an unshakable kindness and by an everlasting covenant of peace.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, I am the I AM, the unchanging kindness; the covenant of peace is mine now. Breathe into that mood until it feels more real than any outer change.
