Read Isaiah 53 in context

Scripture Focus

12Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:12

Biblical Context

Isaiah 53:12 presents a figure who bears the sins, is numbered with transgressors, and intercedes for many, culminating in exaltation and shared reward. It is describing a movement of consciousness within you, not a distant person.

Neville's Inner Vision

The heart of Isaiah 53:12 reveals the inner drama of your consciousness. The one who poured out his soul unto death is your own worn self when you finally surrender fear and pride to the I AM. In that surrender you cease living by the old ego’s rules and begin to divide the spoil with the great—receiving inner abundance as you align with a higher idea of yourself. To be numbered with transgressors is to acknowledge you once identified with limitation, guilt, and separation, now reinterpreted in light of the truth that you are the I AM. Intercession becomes a practical discipline of imagination: you envision others forgiven, healed, restored, and you see yourself forgiven and restored in turn. Sacrifice is simply detaching the old story from your attention; exaltation is the wealth you gain as you hold the end you seek in consciousness. When this is felt as real, divisions dissolve into one harmonious awareness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume the feeling of I AM as your immediate state; revise a moment with someone you judge by forgiving them in your heart as you also forgive yourself. Rest in the sense of abundant, exalted life flowing through you.
