Bruise to Blessing Within
Isaiah 53:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 53:10-11 describes a servant whom the LORD refines through suffering, turning grief into a fruitful outcome. Through this travail, he will see his offspring, prolong his days, and justify many by bearing their iniquities.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the 'servant' as your own I AM, the consciousness you are. The LORD's 'pleasure to bruise him' is not punishment but a reforming of your inner state—when you release the old belief, the former self is bruised into new life. The 'soul as an offering for sin' is the moment you offer limitation to the fire of awareness, letting it burn away while you affirm you are the awareness behind belief. 'He shall see his seed' signals the fruit of your inner work—the healings, blessings, and creative outcomes that spring from settled knowledge of who you are. 'Prolong his days' points to the lasting power of the new state; when you know your I AM, your life lengthens in the cadence of now. 'By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many' invites you to exercise inner knowing for others, recognizing their oneness with God. 'He shall bear their iniquities' becomes compassionate release of mistaken views, not punishment, and you free others by seeing them as already whole.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the state 'I AM' as your present reality and revise any lack until it feels true. Then imagine a scene where your life’s outcomes blossom as if the Lord’s pleasure prospers in your hands.
