Isaiah 52:7-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 52 in context

Scripture Focus

7How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Isaiah 52:7-9

Biblical Context

These verses announce good tidings of peace and salvation and declare that God reigns. Watchmen rise in song as Zion is restored, and joy breaks forth in Jerusalem’s redemption.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, if you accept it as true now, your inner world rearranges. The feet on the mountains are your thoughts moving inward toward the good tidings you proclaim. When you repeat 'Thy God reigns in me,' you are not waiting for a future event; you are declaring the I AM as sovereign, here and now. The watchmen within you rise and join in harmony; eyes become one with the reality you imagine, and Zion—your state of divine presence—comes into view. Jerusalem's redemption is the mind’s healing from fear, the restoration of harmony between desire and the divine. The result is a quiet joy that breaks forth, for you have comforted your people by recognizing God’s reign as your own.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, breathe into the chest, and imagine climbing a mountain where feet bring good tidings. Silently declare, 'Thy God reigns in me now,' feel the arising peace as your inner city is redeemed.
