Departing Into Divine Protection

Isaiah 52:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 52 in context

Scripture Focus

11Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
12For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.
Isaiah 52:11-12

Biblical Context

The verses urge separation from what is unclean and to carry the sacred vessels of the Lord in purity. God promises to go before you, providing steady protection rather than rush or flight.

Neville's Inner Vision

Spirit, this decree is a pivot in consciousness, not a geographical cue. Depart ye... is your invitation to withdraw attention from the old scene of limitation and become the clean vessel that bears the Lord. The 'midst of her' is the inner noise of doubt; step out by turning to the I AM, to the inner Presence that precedes every step. When you affirm that the Lord will go before you, you acknowledge that your awareness is already at the head of your affairs, arranging circumstances to reflect your state of being. The rereward is the natural outcome of abiding in this truth: protection comes as a steady rhythm, not as a rescue. You are called to holiness and separation, but this is not punishment; it is alignment with your true identity. Purity arises as you realize you carry sacred vessels within, and the Presence of God travels with you as you move. Departures, cleansings, and journeys are inner movements of consciousness toward God within, not external conflicts.

Practice This Now

Assume the identity: I depart from the old self now; the Lord goes before me, and I am clean, bearing the vessels of the Lord. Feel this as a real shift in consciousness and let your next moment unfold from that awareness.
