Isaiah 51:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 51 in context

Scripture Focus

18There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
Isaiah 51:18

Biblical Context

There is no external guide for her among all the sons she has borne. There is also no one to lead her by the hand of all she has raised.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 51:18 speaks to your inner life, not to a historical event. If there is no guide outside you, then the only guide you need is the I AM that you are. The 'sons' are the thoughts and conditions you have sired in consciousness and in form. To look for guidance elsewhere is to forget your birthright as creator and mother of your experience. When you feel abandoned, you are believing you are separate from your own inner governor. Reclaim your sovereignty by assuming the state of being guided by the I AM within. Make a quiet act of inner consent that your inner hand now leads you, and watch the scene rearrange itself to align with that conviction. I invite you to revise the sense that guidance is external; instead imagine a familiar, steadfast presence within, offering direction, support, and unity. As you dwell in that awareness, the outer world follows your inner order. Remember: imagination is the instrument by which reality is formed, and you are always the guide you seek.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes; place a hand on your chest and declare, 'I AM the guide of my life.' Then visualize your inner I AM taking your hand and gently leading you into a scene that feels true.
