Read Isaiah 51 in context

Scripture Focus

15But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
16And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
Isaiah 51:15-16

Biblical Context

God proclaims Himself as Lord and maker, placing divine words in you and enveloping you with protection, enabling inner creation and the identity of Zion.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the reader, this text is not a history lesson but a declaration of your present state. The sea and its roaring waves symbolize the restless thoughts and fears of consciousness. I am the LORD thy God—this is not a past event, but the I AM within you announcing its sovereignty. The Lord of hosts is his name: the might behind every decision, the steadfast order that holds your inner world. Then He says, I have put my words in thy mouth: your inner conviction is a creative faculty. When you align your speech with truth instead of doubt, your environment follows. I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand: you are encompassed by Divine protection and guidance. That I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth: through steady inner imaginings you fashion a new order, a cosmos born from your inward state. Say unto Zion, Thou art my people: affirm now that Zion is your true identity, present and eternal in the I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and imagine you are the I AM speaking through you; feel the words forming in your mouth as certainty, and picture Zion already established within you.
