Trust in Darkness: Isaiah 50:10

Isaiah 50:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 50 in context

Scripture Focus

10Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
Isaiah 50:10

Biblical Context

It speaks to those who fear the LORD and walk in darkness, yet have no light. The remedy is to trust in the name of the LORD and stay upon God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Fear here is not punishment but a signal of forgotten identity. You are not separate from the light you seek; darkness is only a picture your consciousness has drawn. The verse calls you to awaken by aligning with the I AM—the NAME of the LORD within you. To fear the LORD is to align with the law that attends to your inner state. When you walk in darkness, you are invited to revise your inner sense of self and to stay upon your God, meaning to rely on the one active presence you already are. Trust becomes not belief about something outside but an inner posture that says, 'I am cared for by the power that never fails.' Let obedience be the outward sign of an inner agreement: you are already guided, already supported, already illuminated. Practice this now: assume you are led, feel the pulse of guidance within, and let your attention rest on the light that your I AM reveals. In that altered state, darkness dissolves and the path becomes visible through your own consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat 'I trust the name of the LORD' and 'I stay upon my God.' Feel the inner light rise as you affirm you are already guided.
