Inner Deliverance and Presence
Isaiah 50:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 50 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses speak to a felt separation and the people’s silence, framing it as a shift in consciousness. God declares power to redeem and sustain.
Neville's Inner Vision
These lines reveal a state of mind rather than a history of estrangement. The bill of divorcement and the cry of silence are symbolic pictures of a consciousness that believes it is separated from the Life that sustains it. When I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? This is the inner question of a self that has forgotten its unity with the I AM. Is my hand shortened that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? The answer lies not in outward circumstance but in the recognition that the power to deliver is the presence you already are. Behold, I dry up the sea, I make rivers a wilderness, not to punish, but to show where belief has run dry. The real miracle is the return of awareness the realization that the Presence of God is within, guiding you, sustaining you, and answering when you call. To reinterpret is to shift from lack to abundance by assuming your redemption now, feeling the I AM working through you, and living as if you have never been apart from divine life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare I am redeemed now, and feel the I AM sustaining you in every breath.
