Inner Lords of Abundant Living
Isaiah 5:8-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
This passage condemns hoarding and grasping of land and wealth as evidence of a consciousness out of harmony with justice. It reframes famine and desolation as a mirror of inner states.
Neville's Inner Vision
Remember that the prophet speaks not of geography but of states. When you join house to house in outer demand, you are simply confirming a mind that fears scarcity and betrays the truth that I AM is the source of all good. The ten acres yielding one bath is not a price tag on soil but a symptom of a consciousness that hoards rather than nourishes. In the inner night, when you set up rules that others must be kept outside, you are imagining your own life as isolated, and the world outside imagines back in kind. Yet the I AM within you is not divided; it calls you back to joyous unity: there is no other in your kingdom but you, and you are the sovereign of abundance. By recognizing that all forms of wealth and provision are states of consciousness, you release the need to measure and dominate. The moment you revise, welcoming abundance as your natural condition, your outer environment follows the inner alignment.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling: I AM the source of all abundance; declare, 'There is enough for all, and I am the vessel through which it flows'. Let it settle in you as a present reality.
