The I AM Remembers You

Isaiah 49:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 49 in context

Scripture Focus

15Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Isaiah 49:15

Biblical Context

Even a mother may forget, but God does not forget you. The I AM within you remains mindful and present.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah's line uses a maternal image to disclose a deeper state of consciousness. The question about forgetfulness exposes a lack of faith in how you are remembered by the I AM. If a woman could forget her child, outer conditions might forget you, yet the I AM states you are remembered now and forever. In Neville terms, you are not remembering God; God is at rest in you as the awareness that you are. When fear whispers abandonment, revise by assuming the feeling of being cradled, nourished, and cherished by the divine mother within. Begin from the assumption that the covenant of remembrance is already established in your consciousness. Let your imagination dwell in the sense of ongoing mercy, and allow the inner memory to override any sense of neglect. The habit of feeling remembered is the true cause of outer relief; you align your life with the state of divine recall, and situations shift to reflect it.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat 'I am remembered by God now' while feeling the warmth of a mother’s embrace. Dwell in that state until it becomes your present sense of life.
