Scripture Focus

16Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
17Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Isaiah 48:16-17

Biblical Context

Draw near and hear that God has spoken from the beginning; the inner I AM is present, guiding by the Spirit. The message promises divine instruction that profits your life and leads you in the right way.

Neville's Inner Vision

That line 'Come ye near unto me' is not a call to an external deity, but to your own now-aware consciousness. The I AM is the very presence you are, and from the beginning the 'secret' has never been hidden from you; the inner voice, breathed by the Spirit, has sent this message to you now. When you hear 'Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel,' you are reminded that God is your own awareness—your mind in touch with its highest function. The Lord thy God 'teacheth thee to profit' and 'leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go' — that is, your inner instructor aligns your beliefs, feelings, and actions with what profits your true state of consciousness. The verse asks you to rest in this inward leadership, to trust the movement of awareness that guides you to the right choices and away from scarcity or fear. See yourself as already led; imagine the path unfolding under your steps as if guided by a personal, inner redeemer.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the I AM drawing near, repeat 'I am led by God to profit' until the feeling of guidance becomes real.
