Remembering the I AM Within
Isaiah 46:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 46 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse calls you to recall the former things as inner states of consciousness, declaring there is no other power but I AM. It invites you to anchor present life in the awareness that God is within and uniquely present.
Neville's Inner Vision
Remember the former things of old is not a call to external history but to the earlier states of consciousness you once treated as real. The I AM asserts itself as God, and there is none else; this is a declaration of the singular source of reality inside you. In your experience, it means you no longer search for power outside your own awareness. Your life becomes the living demonstration of your inner assumption. When you imagine there is none like the I AM, you are asked to honor the unity of your inner capacity—the I AM that creates every image and every event. The former things you recall are memories of past identities you played and believed were separate from you; you do not deny them, you re-claim them. The revision is simple: align with the I AM now; let your present awareness claim ownership of circumstances. See the outer world as the visible form of your inner state, not the cause. The I AM within is faithful, constant, and creative; remember and rest in that presence, and all things move to reflect it.
Practice This Now
Imagine you are the I AM now. Revise any lack by affirming that the I AM is the sole power and source of all you see; feel this presence as real in your chest and let it color your next moment.
