Nearness Of Righteousness Within

Isaiah 46:12-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 46 in context

Scripture Focus

12Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:
13I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
Isaiah 46:12-13

Biblical Context

Isaiah 46:12-13 speaks to the stouthearted, promising that God will bring near His righteousness and salvation; it will not tarry. Zion will be the dwelling place of this salvation, revealing God's glory.

Neville's Inner Vision

Do you hear the inward invitation? You are the stouthearted, feeling distant from righteousness, yet the I AM within is speaking. This verse does not threaten distance; it reveals a shift of awareness. The righteousness God brings near is not earned outside you; it is your own state of aligned consciousness arising in the now. Salvation is not a distant event but a present recognition—an alignment with the truth that you are never truly apart from God. Zion is the inner sanctuary of awareness where this salvation resides; to place salvation there is to fix your attention on your true nature, not your past deeds. The covenant loyalty is your steadfast assumption that you already are what you seek. When you assume it, when you feel it as real right now, the far-offness fades, and the immediate presence of God—your I AM—appears. Your work is to revise the belief in distance, to practice the one act: I am near; I am righteousness; I am salvation now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit in quiet; assume you are already righteous and saved. Repeat 'I am near; I am righteousness; salvation is now within me,' and feel a warm light settle in your chest, signaling Zion within.
