There Is None Else Within

Isaiah 45:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 45 in context

Scripture Focus

5I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:5-6

Biblical Context

The verses declare there is only one LORD— the I AM—unity of power and awareness. God girds and sustains you even before you know Him, so that all people may awaken to this single, all-encompassing presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner temple, the LORD is the I AM—not a distant person, but the one consciousness that thinks, feels, and forms your world. There is no other power at work; every fear, every longing, is a movement of that one awareness. When Isaiah says there is none beside me, he invites you to awaken to the truth that you are that awareness. The world of persons, places, and events is a dream spun by your own sense of self; girding thee is the protection of your reality by your deliberate imagining. So whether you rise with the sun or are called from the west, the proof you seek lies within: there is only the One I AM acting as all. Practice this by a simple revision: when a limitation arises, answer with, 'There is none beside me' and feel the power flow through your heart; imagine your body wrapped in a cloak of divine support; dwell in the feeling that you are the sovereign creator of your experience, and the phenomena will align to your inner state.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the role of the I AM; revise any sense of separation by affirming, 'There is none beside me, I am the sole power.' Then feel the unity in your chest and imagine a circle of light girding you as your life responds to that inner truth.
