Inner Habitat of God

Isaiah 45:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 45 in context

Scripture Focus

18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:18

Biblical Context

God created the heavens and earth to be inhabited. There is no other, and the I AM dwells as the source of life.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah 45:18 speaks to the innermost habitation: the One who created the heavens forms a world that is meant to be lived in. In Neville's view, the verse is not about distant geography but about your own state of consciousness. The earth is not 'out there' first; it is a projection of the I AM within you. If you assent to the truth that you are the dwelling-place of God, every room, brick, and light in your life answers to that belief. To the Magisterial I AM, nothing is created in vain; every sensation, relationship, and circumstance serves the order of your inner garment. The divine presence is not a poet’s metaphor but the very act of awareness that says, 'I am.' When you refuse to entertain lack or chaos, you begin to reorganize your world from within. Your task is to awaken to a fulfilled consciousness and let that inner state reinterpret appearances as the orderly creation of God, here, now.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: I am the habitation of God; revise any sense of absence and feel it real by picturing a scene where home, purpose, and provision reflect that presence.
