Inner Command of Creation
Isaiah 45:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 45 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Lord declares His sovereignty and invites you to ask about the future and to command the work of His hands; He created the earth and the heavens.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the voice of the I AM, Isaiah reveals a profound inner economy: the Creator speaks to your present consciousness, inviting you to ask what is to come concerning your sons and the work of your hands. This is not distant petition but an invitation to recognize that you and your world are formed by your inner state. When you realize you are the maker, the earth and heavens are not separate heavens to be begged from but expressions of your current awareness. Your imagination becomes the instrument whereby you acknowledge, by assumption, that the future is already shaped by the I AM within you. The verse invites you to cease longing outwardly and to assume dominion inwardly, for the I AM is the source of all order and Providence. As you dwell in this awareness, your sense of self shifts from a beggar to a commander, and the day you envision in imagination begins to align with the outer world as its reflection. The Father’s plan unfolds not by pleading but by inner recognition that you are the creator being you serve.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, and assume you are the creator of your life. Internalize a statement that you ask what is to come for your sons and that the work of your hands is already complete in the I AM; feel it real for a minute, then carry the certainty into your day.
