Isaiah 44:25-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 44 in context

Scripture Focus

25That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
Isaiah 44:25-26

Biblical Context

Falsehood and clever tokens are dissolved when the I AM speaks through the servant’s word. The passage promises inner renewal, rebuilding Jerusalem within you.

Neville's Inner Vision

All scripture is a state of consciousness; this is what Isaiah is revealing: false tokens and diviner schemes cannot stand against the I AM that you are. When the verse says God frustrates the tokens of the liars, it means your outer evidence of contradiction dissolves as you shift the inner state. The I AM—your constant awareness—refuses to entertain the old stories and reverses the motion of your past beliefs, turning backward what once seemed wise. As you hold the word of the servant as already true, that inner decree begins to harden into experience. Jerusalem, the city of your inner peace, is inhabited by this living memory that you are the author of your world. The decayed places of your mind are raised up by the certainty of the aligned state. You are not asking someone to fix you; you are the decree-maker, and the decree is already done in you. Renewal comes from within, not from without; the kingdom springs into being as you persist in the feel of the wish fulfilled.

Practice This Now

Assume, 'I am the I AM; Jerusalem is inhabited within me now.' Feel the decayed places rising into life as I stand in that truth.
