Remembered Identity, Inner Return

Isaiah 44:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 44 in context

Scripture Focus

21Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
Isaiah 44:21-22

Biblical Context

Isaiah 44:21-22 speaks of remembering God’s servant and the promise of lasting care. It also proclaims that sins are blotted out and that redemption calls you back to God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jacob and Israel are not distant peoples but inner states of consciousness. The voice speaks to your own I AM, saying: you are formed, you are my servant, and you shall not be forgotten by awareness. When I blot out your transgressions as a thick cloud, that is the inner erasure performed by your attention when you refuse to feed the old story of guilt. Return unto me, for I have redeemed thee, means you can shift your center of gravity from the memory of error to the living presence of the I AM. Redemption is not history but a present end-state you can inhabit: you are the one who is remembered, cared for, and restored by your own consciousness. To engage this now, dwell in the assumption that you are forgiven, formed, and secure in God’s recognition. Let imagination perform the cleaning: visualize the cloud dissolving into light, and feel the peace of your true identity shining through.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling: I am forgiven, I am remembered by God, I am the I AM in expression. Then revise any sense of separation by affirming redemption here and now.
