Inner Sanctuary Judgment

Isaiah 43:28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 43 in context

Scripture Focus

28Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
Isaiah 43:28

Biblical Context

The verse announces judgment on the sanctuary's princes and the people, marking consequences for covenant unfaithfulness. It frames exile and reproach as outcomes of misaligned inner loyalties.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of this line as a map of your inner world. The princes of the sanctuary are the elevated states you tolerate—pride, judgment, and separation—that profane your sacred awareness. Jacob and Israel represent your striving ego and your collective self, respectively; when they are cursed or reproached, you feel exile within your own mind. Yet nothing external can profane the I AM, your true awareness; you alone grant reality to any condition by the thoughts you hold about yourself. If you awaken to the fact that you are the sanctuary, you begin to revoke the decree of separation and return to a single covenant: I AM that I AM. By revising your inner assumptions and insisting on wholeness, you reverse the curse and restore blessedness to your entire being. Your world reflects your inner state; change the state, and the world changes. The realized presence of the I AM dissolves judgment, and the prodigal self returns to its rightful temple.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and imagine a radiant temple within. Repeat softly, I am the sanctuary; I am the I AM. Feel the sense of wholeness expanding until every thought reflects that truth.
