Inner Worship Reframed
Isaiah 43:23-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Outward offerings and incense are not what God desires; the text rebukes hollow worship. The real concern is inner sin that burdens the true temple of life.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner reading, God is the I AM within you. The sacrificial rites point to a deeper truth: you are not offering your senses to consciousness; you are offering your attention to your stories of guilt. The line 'you have made me to serve with thy sins' means your awareness has been yoked to a narrative of separation, and you 'wearied me' with iniquities by clinging to external ritual to cover inner fear. The remedy is to invert the equation: not 'I must perform to please God', but 'I am already the I AM, and this I AM is satisfied with my present state of awareness.' When you imagine yourself as the temple, you choose a shift in inner disposition toward gratitude, obedience, and faithful attention to the now. Reality is the state you inhabit; by assuming and feeling it real that you are in alignment with the I AM, your outer life will reflect that inner stance. The offerings become symbols of offering thoughts; the incense a fragrance of inner peace born from harmony within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and assume the state 'I am the I AM.' Feel the awareness that is always present, and rest in the sense that this moment already satisfies God; let that feeling be real for several breaths.
