Inner Offerings, Silent Worship
Isaiah 43:22-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 43 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Israel did not call on God and grew weary of Him. Their offerings were not honored, and their sacrifices did not bring true relationship with God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Know this, for the I AM within you is always ready: the scripture exposes not a failure of ritual, but a misaligned state of consciousness. Israel’s neglect to call upon God and its weariness toward offerings reveal a mind wearied by images rather than moved by divine presence. The altar in the temple stands as symbol, yet the true altar is the inner disposition where you acknowledge your I AM and dwell in that identity. When you call yourself by the name of your real nature, you lift the burden of sin as a costume you outgrow. The phrase “you have made Me to serve with your sins” is a clue that you have allowed thoughts and habits to wear you rather than you wear them as servant. Return to inner truth: worship is obedience to the I AM, a seamless harmony between feeling and fact. In that return, outward offerings of fear or guilt fall away and are replaced by the incense of awareness. Your life then reflects the fullness of your undivided presence.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, assume the state 'I AM calling upon You now' and feel the inner altar rise. Rest in the sense of your true nature, letting it displace weariness with ease.
