New Way in the Wilderness
Isaiah 43:19-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 43 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He will do a new thing and make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The people formed for Himself will show forth His praise.
Neville's Inner Vision
See the wilderness as your current mental weather, a space that longs for renewal. God’s statement is not about geography but about inner rearrangement. I AM—your exact awareness—will do a new thing now, offering a way through the wilderness of doubt and a river through the desert of limitation. The way appears as a shift in belief, a new bias of consciousness that parts the old habit patterns. The rivers symbolize the felt experience of replenishment flowing into your life from your inner source, nourishing the chosen self who loves and praises. The beasts and dragons are but thoughts that once ruled you; when you acknowledge the inner waters, even those wild images bow to your inner discipline. This is salvation and renewal: not future conquest, but Present realization, where your formed self lives to show forth praise. You are formed for God’s own purpose; let your inner awareness prove it by walking as the lover and the praise of the I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the sensation of a 'new thing' springing forth now; imagine your inner desert becoming a river. Repeat softly: I am the I AM, and I make a way in the wilderness for my chosen self.
