Isaiah 43:19

Biblical Context

Isaiah 43:19 speaks of a fresh, spontaneous movement of creation—God will do a new thing, and it will spring forth now. It promises a way through wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the seeker, the new thing is not coming from without but arising as a shift in your state of consciousness. I, the I AM within you, awaken something unimagined, so your inner landscape suddenly springs forth as if already accomplished. The wilderness you walk through is the collection of unreconciled beliefs - lack, limitation, and doubt. When you dwell in the I AM, you choose the soil from which reality grows; the way appears as you revise your assumptions. By insisting upon the feeling of the wish fulfilled, the inner spring opens channels, and the impossible becomes apparent as if it were done. The rivers in the desert are the living ideas and inspirations that flow from this new state of consciousness. Your world becomes a map of your inner revision, and what you call outer circumstance aligns with your inner tone. This is the promise fulfilled by present awareness, here and now; trust it, and watch the old fall away to reveal the new.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and declare I AM as your true nature, then assume the feeling of the fulfilled renewal; imagine walking through a desert and finding a river; spend a few minutes in that state.
