Redeemer Within Babylon
Isaiah 43:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 43 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He is your redeemer and has sent power to address exile, humbling the world’s rulers to restore you to wholeness.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this inner drama, the LORD speaks as your I AM. Babylon is a state of mind, not a place: fear, pride, and separation. When He says He has sent to Babylon and brought down their nobles, it is the I AM entering your stream of images and dissolving the imaginary rulers—the nobles and Chaldeans—whose cry swirls in your ships of opinion. The cry in the ships is the clamor of outward conditions; the action is purely internal: the mind is reorganized until its dominant state is aligned with the truth of your being. Exile becomes a temporary projection of lack; return is your decision to dwell in the I AM here and now. For your sake this move is made; you are not cast away but drawn home into the inner kingdom that God already occupies as your consciousness. Your task is to consent to that alignment and let external noise recede as you recognize your wholeness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, with a soft smile, assume the feeling 'I AM' is already true of you. Then revise any sense of exile by resting in that inner state and feel it real as you return home to your true consciousness.
