Inner Hand Divine Path
Isaiah 43:13-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 43 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God proclaims sovereignty and deliverance; the LORD as creator and king; the inner I AM makes a way through peril.
Neville's Inner Vision
Before the day arose, you are I AM — the immutable awareness behind all appearance. Nothing can deliver you from the grip of your own hand, for I AM works now and cannot be thwarted. When Isaiah calls the LORD Redeemer, Holy One, Creator and King, he is naming your true identity: you are the self that commands, creates order, and governs time. Babylon, the Chaldeans, the ships and cries are simply pictures shaped by your mind; you call them down into light by the authority of your inner decree. The verse about making a way in the sea and a path in waters is the demonstration of your imagination in action: a conscious decision to see a dry path where you once saw danger. The chariot and army that vanish are your old thoughts dissolving as you stand in the present I AM. So dwell in that sovereignty now, and watch life rearrange itself to your inner verdict.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and affirm, 'I AM the way and the power in my life.' Revise a current problem as already resolved by divine action, then feel the relief as you picture walking a dry path through the sea of circumstance.
