Beloved Identity Isaiah 43:1

Isaiah 43:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 43 in context

Scripture Focus

1But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Isaiah 43:1

Biblical Context

God declares He created and formed Jacob/Israel, telling them to fear not, for they are redeemed, named by Him, and belong to Him. This asserts an intimate, fixed identity and the promise of relationship.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your being, the LORD who created and formed you is your own I AM. When you claim that I AM-ness, fear dissolves into the rhythm of your inner belonging, for you are already redeemed, already named by the one consciousness you call God. Jacob and Israel symbolize your fixed inner dispositions—your history and order—now understood as the divine pattern in you. Redemption is not a future rescue but a present recognition: you wake to a self that is owned by, and owned of, the One self. The voice that says 'fear not' is your own steadfast awareness saying, 'I am not separate from the Source I call mine.' To live this is to acknowledge you are called by name—your name is the sign of an intimate, personal relationship with the Infinite. When you live from this truth, you act from vocation, not struggle; you walk in a world where you are the beloved by virtue of your very existence.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, and say, 'I AM redeemed; I have been named by God and belong.' Then imagine a tender inner voice calling your name and you answering, 'Here I am,' stepping into your true identity.
