New Things Declared Within

Isaiah 42:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 42 in context

Scripture Focus

9Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
Isaiah 42:9

Biblical Context

The former things have come to pass. Now new things are declared, and you are told of them before they spring forth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold is your invitation to wake to the awareness that your past conditions have fallen away. In the inner life of consciousness, the former things are not history to be remembered but states you have outgrown. The new things I declare are the fresh possibilities God, I AM announces to your present awareness. These are not distant events arriving through external signs; they are movements of your inner life, imagined and affirmed until they become your ruling assumption. When I tell you of them before they spring forth, I am telling you that the end of one state is known within you before it manifests in form. Your task is not to plead for change but to assume the end: the new creation already declared and awaiting your acknowledgment. Rest in the awareness that you are the I AM, the perceiver who can entertain any state and thereby bring it forth. The old circuitry yields to the new because you have decided, in imagination, that it is so.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the new state as already present. Feel the reality of that state until it seems undeniable.
