Inner Paths to Light
Isaiah 42:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 42:16 promises that God will guide the spiritually blind along unfamiliar roads, turning darkness into light and straightening crooked paths, and that He will not forsake them. This is an inner invitation: the guidance you seek resides in your present awareness—the I AM you are.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Isaiah 42:16 as a map of your inner sovereignty. The blind are the parts of you that wander when you cannot see the whole plan; the 'way' is the inner disposition that trusts the I AM and remains awake to the now. The I AM will lead you by a path you do not know, for imagination creates reality and you must awaken to the state you desire, not to the evidence you currently have. When you revise confusion as instruction, darkness becomes light—light is the natural activity of awareness turned toward itself. Crooked things—old habits, fear, doubt—are made straight as you align your inner assumption with the truth of your being. And the promise of not forsaking you is the constant presence of your inner God-state, enduring regardless of outward appearances. Practice yields a shift in the air you breathe, a new direction in thought, and a sense that you are shepherded by a benevolent I AM. Remember: you are the imagination of God; turning toward inner guidance is turning toward reality itself.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and silently affirm, I am led by the I AM along paths I do not know. Visualize darkness dissolving into clear light as you feel the guidance present now.
