Birth Cry of Inner Power
Isaiah 42:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse speaks of long inner restraint, followed by a birth-pain surge of creative energy that births a new reality by dissolving the old.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the still point of your being, the I AM declares a long withheld blessing: silence, restraint, inward watchfulness. This is not absence but preparation, a womb where possibilities are formed. When the inner work has gathered its momentum, a birth cry arises—not a shout of pain but the bold admission that a new state has arrived. The travailing cry is your imaginative act, tearing through the old conditions and dissolving them in an instant by the power of belief rightly held. The word destroy and devour speaks to the old forms surrendering to the reality you now choose; it is the self that dies to make room for the self that creates. Do not fear the force; it is the impulse of creation. Align with the I AM, imagine the scene where the desired state already exists, and feel the certainty as if it is your living present. In so doing, you convert waiting into action and time into a threshold you step through, crossing from limitation into creative actuality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the new state now until it feels real. Repeat to yourself I am the I AM here; the old self dissolves as the new self arises.
