Isaiah 37:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 37 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse shows Hezekiah's officials consulting Isaiah, who exhorts fearlessness and promises that God will defeat the enemy and restore safety.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your mind hears a directive identical to Isaiah’s: do not fear the loud words of outward circumstance. The servants are the voices within you that bluster; the Assyrian is the perceived problem projected outward. When you hear a blasphemous report from the world, remember: Thus saith the LORD—turn inward to the I AM and rest there. The blast upon him is a sudden shift in your state of consciousness, the rumour is a whisper of possibility, and the sword in his land is the outward rearrangement that follows your inner turning. Deliverance is not purely external victory but a change of being you inhabit—moving from fear to trust, from lack to sufficiency, from separation to unity with your divine nature. Trust that the Lord’s protection and provision operate within your mind; let the inner conviction govern thoughts, feelings, and finally circumstances. The prophecy is fulfilled as soon as you claim the assurance as real and present within you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: sit quietly and assume the deliverance you seek, feeling it in every cell as already accomplished. whisper to yourself, 'I AM delivered now,' breathe deeply, and observe outer events aligning with the inner victory.
