Desert to Pool: The Inner Highway
Isaiah 35:7-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 35 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The desert becomes a pool, and a holy highway appears for the pure. The redeemed will walk there, free from danger and fear.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the words of Isaiah are not about geography but the texture of your consciousness. When you stand in the state of 'I AM,' dryness is merely a belief that has not yet been felt. The parched ground becomes a pool as you awaken to the I AM that you are. The dragons—your fears and limitations—do not vanish by force but through transfiguration into grass and reeds in the inner habitation: they melt away as you attend to joy, sufficiency, and vitality. The highway of holiness is the steady path of your attention; the unclean cannot cross because you no longer identify with it. The fools who think they err do so only in the state of mind you once occupied; they now walk there with you. No lion, no ravenous beast—these are the inner voices of threat that lose their power when you claim your redemption. The redeemed are present now; you are redeemed now, walking on the inner road, free, alive, and sure.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and feel the dry ground melt into a pool within you. Say, 'I am on the Highway of Holiness now,' and allow the redeemed life to become your immediate reality.
