Inner Book Of Gathered Spirit
Isaiah 34:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 34 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Seek the LORD's book and read, for nothing in that book will fail to find its mate; God has commanded it and His Spirit has gathered them.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Neville's language, the 'book of the LORD' is the book of your own I AM, a record of states you may inhabit. When you 'seek out' the book, you are choosing a state that already contains your wish as a present fact. 'No one of these shall fail' means any element that belongs to your fulfilled state cannot miss its partner if you maintain the proper vibration. 'None shall want her mate' says every true idea will attract its counterpart as you hold the image steady. 'For my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them' expresses the single act of inner command and inner Spirit moving together to bring forth conditions in your life that mirror your inner image. Your task is to revise by assuming the wish, feeling it real, and let that feeling wash through your consciousness until the outer scene aligns with the inner book.
Practice This Now
Choose one desire and enter the state that already contains it; feel it real now and dwell there for a few minutes, letting the I AM’s gathered certainty fill your mind.
