Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 34:15–17 presents nesting birds as emblems of inner states and urges you to seek the LORD's book within. It promises divine order, gathering, and a lasting possession for the faithful.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this vision, the great owl and the vultures are not monsters but figures of your own mind—states of consciousness nesting in the shadow of awareness. They gather under your attention, showing what you have allowed to occupy your being. 'Seek ye out of the book of the LORD' becomes a call to read the inner script you continually draft with your I AM. When you do, none of these states fails to find its mate; each thought and mood is drawn into an orderly fellowship by the divine command of your inner voice, for the 'mouth' of God has spoken and His Spirit has gathered them. The casting of the lot by line represents a deliberate choosing of alignment, a surrender to an inner law that distributes roles and places within you. As you own this order, you possess it forever—an inner kingdom that endures through generations. Your imagination then becomes the tool by which the I AM comforts and arranges your life, so that the outer world begins to reflect the settled inner state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you already possess this inner order. Feel the I AM commanding the inner lot and let that feeling settle as real.
