Biblical Context
Valiant ones cry out; ambassadors of peace weep. The highways lie waste and the land mourns because the covenant is broken.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine this report not of geography but of your inner weather. The 'valiant ones' are your steadfast states of consciousness—the I AM that remains when appearances strain. When they cry and ambassadors of peace weep, it signals inner conflict: you have given power to judgments and the outer world mirrors a mind not at rest with Its own law. The highways lying waste and the wayfaring man ceasing describe thoughts that no longer move with faith; you have broken the covenant with your true Source, and so plans, cities, and relationships darken. The earth’s mourning is your sense of separation from God, and the landscapes of Lebanon, Sharon, Bashan, and Carmel are inner terrains you’ve allowed to become barren. Now reset by affirming the I AM as the one ruling governor, the covenant keeper, the healer of every rift. Return to the assumption that peace is your natural state and that the land of your mind renews as you hold fast to that inner promise. Imagination rightly directed transforms judgment into life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and silently assume, 'I am in covenant with Infinite Life'; feel that peace as a present reality, and revise any fearful thought until it yields to that calm. Let this felt sense wash through plans, conversations, and choices today.
