Dreams Of Nations, Inner Zion
Isaiah 29:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 29 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The nations opposing Zion are a dream that vanishes when you awaken. External threats are projections of inner states, dissolving as you realize you are the I AM.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the multitude of nations that seem to fight against Ariel is not a distant army but a dream-image of your own mind. They have power only as you lend it by forgetting that you are the I AM, the self-existent awareness that creates the scene. The dream is vivid in the waking hours, yet it has no substance outside belief. When you choose to rest in the fact that the I AM is your true governor, the munition of fear loses its force and the illusion of resistance dissolves into light. The hungry and thirsty man who dreams of sustenance awakens to emptiness or faintness; so the dream-people vanish when you recognize your inner Zion and decree, I am the I AM. Zion is not a fort or a city but an inner state of peace and decisive vitality, active in daily life yet unthreatened by any external nation. Your deliverance is not coming from without but arising within as you revise the scene with the feeling that the dream has ended. Stand firm in the consciousness that you are the dreamer and the reality you seek is already yours.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, in the I AM, affirm that the dream of opposition has ended; imagine the crowd fading into mist and carry the feeling of Zion’s peace into your steps.
