Ariel and the Inner Dream
Isaiah 29:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse suggests that external conflicts against Ariel are like a night-time dream, not lasting reality. It hints that what seems to threaten us outwardly arises from inner states and can dissolve when understood as mental imagery.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scripture the great host of nations threatening Ariel is not a separate army arrayed against you, but a chorus of inner dispositions—fear, pride, resistance—acting within the theater of your own consciousness. Ariel stands for your inner sanctuary, the I AM that you are aware of. When you identify with the I AM, the so-called external battles shrink to a mere night vision, a temporary projection that vanishes upon awakening. The verse invites you to take mastery of the scene by refusing to concede authority to these inner images. Revise from the throne of awareness, asserting, 'Only God is present; I AM peace now.' As you persist in the felt sense of the wish fulfilled—your innate wholeness and safety—the imagined armies dissolve and Ariel remains, whole and untroubled. Thus, the prophecy becomes a reminder: transform the inner picture, and the outer apparent conflict follows suit into nothingness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise the scene by declaring 'Only God is present; I AM peace now,' and feel the imagined armies melt into night as you awaken to your inner certainty.
