Biblical Context
Isaiah 29:13 exposes outward worship that lacks inner devotion; true worship arises when the heart is aligned with the I AM, not with human tradition.
Neville's Inner Vision
That which the prophet calls lip service is a state of divided attention, not merely verbal mischief. In the present moment you must see that the heart is not distant because of fate, but because belief has built a wall between you and the I AM. When a people approach the altar with mouth and lips, they have allowed the inner quiet to be crowded out by the precepts of men. The I AM is not distant law; it is the innermost awareness you call your own being. To awaken, reverse the order: imagine the heart already united with God, feel reverence as an inner certainty, not a rule you observe. Your fear toward the divine is a habit learned from tradition; unlearn it by returning to your original state—the I AM present here and now. The Father is not impressed by rhetoric; he is the I AM within you awaiting your acknowledgment. Rest in that present awareness, and outward worship will unfold as the natural expression of your realized identity.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already in right relationship with the I AM; feel the heart drawn to God as a present reality, not a distant rule. Repeat 'I AM' with vivid sensation until it registers as now.
