Biblical Context
Verse 28:29 states that all wisdom and skilled work come from the LORD of hosts. It presents the divine as the source of both counsel and action.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the LORD of hosts not as a distant sovereign, but as the I AM within you, the inner citadel where all counsel is born and all deeds are brought into form. This verse says that what you call wisdom and what you call doing are not external accolades but inner acts of consciousness, wonderful in counsel and excellent in working. When you align with that inner governor—when you accept that your thoughts, feelings, and images are agents of a single, inseparable I AM—you will observe events unfold as if by divine orchestration. Discernment comes as a quiet knowing that you already possess the plan and the timing; your job is to dwell in that state until it feels real. The “hosts” are the manifold faculties under one will, cooperating under this divine principle. You do not seek God out there; you awaken to God within as the living source of every decision and outcome. Then your life becomes the expression of a single, perfect design—the counsel and the craft working through you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Assume the feeling of the I AM guiding every choice; say, 'I am guided by wonderful counsel within me now.' Then visualize a current concern resolved by inner wisdom and feel the relief as if it already occurred.
