Verse 28:12 invites you to a rest and a refreshing that are not distant destinations but states of consciousness within. The weary are the habits of fear and fatigue your mind clings to; to these you speak, yet they often refuse to hear because they prefer the old script. Yet the rest is the I AM awareness you already are—presence that needs no pursuit. When you treat this invitation as your present reality, you stop chasing outcomes and begin to live from the quiet center of God within. The refusal to hear reveals the ego’s resistance to a new identity: from exhausted worker to rested being of light. Your practice is to assume the state: I am rested now; I am refreshed in this moment. Feel it in your body, imagine the inner scene as already true, and let that feeling color your thoughts and actions. Imagination creates reality—the outer changes in response to the inner shift, and you discover the rest that was always yours.
