Inner Gathering of Israel

Isaiah 27:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 27 in context

Scripture Focus

12And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
Isaiah 27:12

Biblical Context

In that day the LORD will clear the channels of distraction and gather the dispersed children of Israel, one by one, restoring their unity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of that day as a shift in your own mind. The 'channel of the river' and the 'stream of Egypt' are figures for the habitual currents of lack, doubt, and separation that keep you from feeling your I AM. The gathering is not a political event but the awakening of your inner kingdom, the moment your consciousness realizes that you are the gatherer and the gathered. When you imagine yourself as one by one gathered, you are rehearsing the reality that your world is the image in your own mind. The Lord, your awareness, beats away the obstructing flow, restoring a singular channel through which your true identity emerges. The exiles—your separated thoughts, pains, and old narratives—collapse into unity as you align with the I AM and declare, 'I am gathered; I am one with all I am.' This is the basis of salvation and return: not historical past, but present inner recognition.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes. In that stillness, imagine the scattered parts of your life being gathered, one by one, into your center. Silently declare, 'I am gathered now' and feel the reunion as your I AM confirms it.
