Isaiah 26:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse proclaims that the dead shall live and rise, even those who lie in dust. It invites an inner awakening and song as life returns.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM eye, Isaiah 26:19 is not about a literal cemetery but about the states of consciousness waking from slumber. The dead men are dormant faculties - memory, courage, joy - that have lain in dust while life waited. My dead body is the living I AM, the stable awareness in which all images and feelings arise. When this awareness asserts itself, the dormant parts are stirred; they rise and join the living stream of consciousness, and you hear your inner song as you awaken. The dew spoken of is the sustaining grace of Spirit, moistening the mind so the faculties can sprout anew, just as herbs drink the morning dew. The earth casting out the dead is not violence but release - letting go of old identifications, stories, and fears so that true life shines forth. Resurrection, then, is now: a shift in what you take to be real, a decision to inhabit the I AM, and to see life as already present within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already alive and awake inside. Quietly affirm I AM as the only reality, and feel the dew of Spirit reviving every part of you, as the dust sheds to reveal living light.
