Inner Kings, Outer Reverence
Isaiah 25:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 25 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Powerful nations will honor God, and the mighty centers of influence will tremble at His presence. The verse points to an inner reality where consciousness shapes outward events.
Neville's Inner Vision
That line is not about geography but about states of consciousness. The 'strong' are your fixed beliefs; the 'city of terrible nations' is the storm of appearances. When I rest in the I AM, I do not conquer the world; I awaken to my presence and it commands reverence. The strong glorify Thee because the inner ruler is awake; the fear of Thee expresses the awe with which I meet my own divine pattern. As I assume the state of I AM, the outer conditions respond: people, situations, even fears bow and become quiet. This is the practical Kingdom of God: not conquering others, but letting my inner awareness govern all I see. Practice by aligning my imagination with the feeling that I AM, and letting that feeling refresh each scene. When I dwell in that consciousness, the anxious city becomes reverent stillness, and the terrors dissolve into awe of the divine within me.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the state of I AM now; revise the scene in your mind so that the I AM presence rules the nations, and feel it real for five minutes. Then carry that feeling into your daily life and notice conditions bending to reverence.
